X-MKP acts as a web server for conference websites, ensuring that all important data is stored permanently. Content can be entered and managed remotely using standard browsers.

Editorial pages and editors

 
The editorial pages contain all information about the event as a whole, such as companies, people, halls, event information, press information, information about the congress, such as congress information, divisions, sections, categories, presentations, and information about the trade fair, such as trade fair information, categories, locations. Branding, i.e. the display of sponsor logos and customisation of the interface to reflect your own brand/corporate identity, is also possible. The integrated access/security concept for editors has extensive functions in the area of editing, approval and publication rights for authors and editors. X-MKP includes a 2-stage approval concept: first completion notification, then approval for publication. Approval and publication are time-controlled, so that certain menu items or pages are only visible during specific periods.
The automated archiving function ensures that content is automatically transferred to an archive once the approval period has expired. The archive is not directly visible in the menu, but text contributions can be found using the full-text search.

 

Preparation of data for lists and catalogues

 
Furthermore, X-MKP or AbstractManagement is the ideal tool for handling calls for Abstracts (CfA) and preparing data for the printing of catalogues and conference proceedings. Entered content automatically generates corresponding organisational lists/web pages for room allocation, the daily programme, the speakers and participants. A web shop is already integrated for the sale of products/tickets.

In the Trade Fair Calendar module, all trade fairs entered into the system can be displayed in three different overviews. These lists are generated dynamically and their content depends on the current date on which they are accessed:

3. CLEAR STRUCTURING

Different event profiles can be separated into so-called ‘classes’. This allows you, for example, to structure events according to the countries in which they take place or to clearly separate congresses and trade fairs from each other.
Each class can be created with up to 3 languages and configured in a modular fashion. This also includes the creation of class-specific pools of people, companies and event locations, whose contents are available to all events and therefore only need to be entered once.

4. AUTOMATIC WEBSITE CREATION / INTEGRATION INTO EXISTING WEBSITES

The event website is automatically generated based on the data and additional information you enter, including the programme and list of presentations for conferences or list of stands for trade fairs. The layout can be adapted to your corporate identity.
This generation also includes the website display on mobile devices. These are automatically recognised and the website layout is adjusted accordingly.
The content to be displayed can be specifically selected.
Integration into existing websites is also possible without any problems.

5. OWN SPEAKER / EXHIBITOR ADMINISTRATION

Registered speakers and exhibitors receive access to their own online administration area.
There, they can maintain their own data.
 
This means a significant reduction in the workload involved in organising an event.
